Lucknow Solar Power Development Corporation Limited (LSPDCL), established in 2015, is a joint venture between the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and the Uttar Pradesh New G Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA). Formed with the objective of developing large-scale solar parks in Uttar Pradesh, the JV aims to facilitate renewable energy investments, strengthen green infrastructure, and drive the state’s long-term clean energy transition. Recognized by the Ministry of New G Renewable Energy (MNRE) as the Solar Park Implementing Agency for Uttar Pradesh, LSPDCL plays a pivotal role in planning, developing, and operationalizing utility-scale solar power projects across the state. SECI, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise, is India’s premier renewable energy implementing agency with deep expertise in project development, policy execution, and national-level renewable energy initiatives. UPNEDA, the State Nodal Agency for renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh, provides strong regional support through land facilitation, regulatory coordination, and state-level implementation. Together, the SECI–UPNEDA partnership ensures seamless integration of central and state capabilities, offering transparent processes, single-window facilitation, and robust infrastructure for developers and investors.
